My Visit Today Brought Both Joy and Sadness! 🥲❤️
Taco Taco has now been reborn as El Charro Tio. The original owner of Taco Taco has finally retired — and while I’m truly happy for her after all these years, it’s bittersweet to see the change. The interior has been completely renovated — fresh, vibrant, and full of new energy 🎨✨. I’m glad it appears she worked out a good deal with the new tenants, and all of this happened within the last 30 to 60 days. I went for lunch today and felt a touch of sadness that I didn’t get to see her one last time, to chat and thank her for all the memories. But at the same time, I’m excited to see the space being loved and used in a new, positive way. The new restaurant served me some delicious tacos — you’ve got to try the beef stew tacos and the beef fajitas 🌮🔥. Both were absolutely fantastic! I’m sure the original owner would be proud to see her legacy living on with such flavor and heart. #ElCharroTio #TacoTacoLegacy #NewBeginnings #MexicanFood #SanAntonioEats #Bittersweet #SupportLocal #FoodWithAStory
