Nara | Museums and Todai-ji are Great, but Kasuga Taisha is a Miss(3)
๐ฟ๐Todai-ji feels like stepping back into a Chinese scenic area. The third-generation evolution directly features Tang-style architecture, haha. It's very clear that it transitioned from Tang style to Japanese "naughty" style, with those Tang-style architectural structures. ๐ฟ๐Then I visited the Todai-ji Museum. It's small, but I saw a Tang straight sword and a standard Tang Dynasty Buddha statue. Tang Dynasty Buddha statues have this round and smooth, relaxed and elegant feel. They're really different from many in grottoes or temples! Nowadays, many in our country have been repeatedly restored and turned into styles from the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties. ๐ฟ๐ The Zen staff is also different. In short, it's very Tang, very Tang~ Kasuga Taisha - My summary: Spooky gods, animals having a meeting, copying each other, and taking the back door. ๐ฟ๐ But there are ancient trees everywhere, and smelly deer๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆand deer poop. I don't like it.๐ #Nara #Todaiji #NaraNationalMuseum ๐ฟ๐
