Nara Tōdai-ji and Kōfuku-ji (2)🌿
🦌 Kōfuku-ji, the head temple of the Japanese Buddhist Hossō sect and one of the Seven Great Temples of Nanto, is located at one corner of Nara Park, with Tōdai-ji at the other. 🌿 It takes just a few minutes to walk between them, and along the way, you'll be charmed by the adorable deer. Some are calmly lying down to cool off, others are sitting in front of cookie stalls waiting for customers to buy treats, and some even nudge you on purpose. 🌟 One man took out a bag of pine cones and handed them out to passersby, saying there's no need to buy cookies to feed the deer; these work just as well. 🌿 To the east of Tōdai-ji and the fortune of Kōfuku-ji, you have Kyoto's Tōfuku-ji. 🌟 On my way out of Tōdai-ji, I passed by a small antique shop and found some interesting treasures to unpack at home. 🌿 #KyotoSurroundings#JapanTravel#KansaiTravel#WomanInHer40s#SoloTravel#LivingTheWayILike 🌟
