P21Hiraso Heizo Persimmon Leaf Sushi Nara Store Main Hall ๐ฃ ๐ JR Shin-Imamiya โ JR Nara I left the hotel early in the morning (okay, it was more like check-out time, not super early) and took the Osaka Loop Line to Nara (45-55 minutes). ๐ฟ Near JR Nara, there is a luggage storage place run by a Chinese woman called Kiraku (๐: 3356). It costs around 300-600 JPY per day. If you find it inconvenient to carry your luggage around (like me, who had to rush to Kyoto overnight with my JR pass), you can store your bags there. ๐ ๐ After dropping off my luggage, I followed the lady's recommendation and went to Heizo nearby for persimmon leaf sushi. (It's said to be a local Nara specialty. ๐ฟI must say their pickled ginger is exceptionally delicious, and the tofu bowl on the right, whose name I didn't understand, was also very refreshing.) It's not so good that you'd go out of your way to eat it, but the interior is quite nice, and it's worth a visit if you're in the area. ๐ฟ ๐ Walking from JR Nara towards Kลfuku-ji along Sanjล-dลri, the area is quite picturesque and great for photos. #Nara ๐
