National Aquarium in Baltimore is Simply Magical! 🪐💫

Recently watching "Queen of Tears," I was reminded of the romantic aquarium proposal scene – and it totally took me back to the stunning National Aquarium in Baltimore! Here’s why it’s a must-visit: ✨ I’m not usually a sentimental person and often find aquariums a bit boring, but honestly? This one is worth it. I could easily spend a whole day here! 🗻 The aquarium is designed as a spiral ascent – architecturally striking and super intuitive to explore. Follow the signs, and you’ll cover every exhibit without backtracking. Allow 4-5 hours if you want to see everything thoroughly. 🐋 So many interactive experiences: Touch moon jellies and sea nettles Dolphin shows 🐬 4D shark movie 🦈 Over 560 species of marine life! 🌴 The top floor is a full immersive rainforest – complete with humid air, lush plants, and free-flying birds. You’ll truly feel transported to the tropics. 🦈 The grand finale: the shark tunnel! Walk through a three-story vertical tank in near darkness – it feels like you’re deep in the ocean. Sharks swim right past you – peaceful and powerful at the same time. 🌄 After exiting, take a stroll along the Inner Harbor and catch a gorgeous sunset 🌊☀️ 🚄 Getting there: From NYC: ~3 hours by train From DC: Only 1 hour! 💰 Tickets: Adults: $40 Kids under 4: FREE 📍 National Aquarium 501 E Pratt St, Baltimore, MD 21202 #USTravel #NorthAmericaTravel #TravelGuide #WeekendGetaway #Baltimore #Aquarium
