Nepal ABC—Enjoying the Hot Springs
✨ Departed from Bamboo at 9:00 AM The trail was all downhill, which was tough on the legs, especially the steps at Chhomrong... As the altitude decreased, the vegetation became much richer. There was a noticeable abundance of oxygen in the air. ✨ Arrived at the hot springs in JHINU DANDA at 4:00 PM Used map.me to navigate to the springs, which took about 20 minutes from the fork in the road. There was a ticket booth along the way where the entrance fee was 100 rupees, which was a great deal! ❤️ The hot springs were much cleaner than expected, with running water and very clear water quality. Locals wash and shampoo outside the pools, not in them, which helps keep the pools clean. ✨ Upon arrival, there were only three local women in the lowest pool, creating a very friendly atmosphere. soak in the hot springs surrounded by the forest, easing the fatigue from the long hike. 👍 Local men who came did not enter the women's pool; they used the upper pools and only went to the lower pool after we left, which was considerate. ⚠️ Unexpectedly, the last day out of the mountains involved walking in the dark again... Started the return trip at 6 PM, hiking to the jeep station. Was surprised to find that after soaking in the hot springs, the body felt limp and weak... The uphill road felt very difficult to climb... ✨ Finally reached the station at 7:00 PM A jeep ride back to Pokhara cost a total of 7500 rupees. Split among six people, it was 1250 rupees each, which seemed to be only 1000 rupees during the daytime. #Nepal #NepalHiking #ABC #NepalABC #NepalABCBaseCampHike #NepalABCTrek#Annapurna Base Camp Trek#kathmandu
