Neptune Oyster: A Treasure Restaurant Recommendation in Boston

Location is also in the restaurant cluster of north end. Even at 2 PM, there were four to five tables lined up at the door, and the line kept going after dining. The store has only one bar and a few tables in the corridor behind the bar. Iโ€™m not too interested in oysters myself, but they are very fresh here. The fried calamari was particularly impressive. I only found out about this off-menu item because I saw someone else order it. The fried calamari was excellent, with a perfect dipping sauce thatโ€™s indescribably delicious. The coating was thin and crispy, and the squid was very fresh. ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿฆ‘ The grilled octopus was average, not much different from the texture Iโ€™ve had at other restaurants. I thought it was going to be raw octopus based on a Yelp photo, but it turned out to be grilled, as the menu only mentioned โ€œoctopusโ€. ๐Ÿ™ The lobster sandwich was very generous in portion, with a taste that was predominantly lobster and butter, mainly lobster. The accompanying fries were quite ordinary. Overall, itโ€™s still highly recommended. If you go, you might want to ask about the hidden menu; it seems to be better than the listed items. ๐Ÿ˜‰ #ItalianCuisine #RestaurantRecommendation #TreasureRestaurant #FoodieCheckIn #Cuisine #Delicious #Boston #BostonLife #Boston #AtmosphericRestaurant #BostonFood #MIT #HarvardUniversity #GlobalEatsSquad
