Nested in the culinary desert of Seattle, an ๐ฎ๐น Italian Restaurant
Getting straight to the point Appetizers ๐ ๐๐ฅฉ๐ซ๐ โข Bruschetta - Tomato and garlic roasted bread with a sweet and sour tomato concasse topped with traditional Italian olive oil. It would be even better with a drizzle of Balsamic vinaigrette! โข Melanzana - Baked eggplant with mozzarella and tomato. The tomato in the middle is sweet! The combination of sweet, sour, and salty flavors is fantastic. This is my favorite dish at the restaurant. โข Carpaccio della Casa - Raw beef tenderloin with arugula and roasted bread. The arugula is tangy, possibly dressed with olive oil and lemon juice, very appetizing and makes you hungrier. These three appetizers are quite authentic in taste and pairing, now letโs move on to the main course. Main Course ๐ โข Fettuccine ai Funghi - Ordered the ever-reliable black truffle cream mushroom pasta and added extra prawns (chicken breast is also an option). The shrimp had a just-thawed microwave flavor, but the pasta was good with a rich cheese taste. This dish is a safe bet at any restaurant. โข Risotto di Mare - Scallop and shrimp seafood risotto. We ordered it based on Google reviews and the appealing photos. The scallops were fishy, and the spicy tomato sauce was overwhelmingly salty. We had the server take it away after a few bites. Dessert ๐ก Pre-made desserts!!! A big no-no!!! โข Tiramisu - For the first time, I had tiramisu with chocolate chips on top. I was shocked by this decision; do authentic Italian restaurants put bread in their tiramisu? โข Cannoli - Crispy cream rolls. Our verdict: Shandong pancakes with cream. The outer layer was so hard, we couldnโt break it with a spoon, let alone bite into it. Tartuffo gelato - Extremely sweet brownie ice cream with cocoa powder on top. Itโs just regular ice cream, not gelato. The desserts were all pre-made. They arrived within two minutes of ordering, and they were all terrible!!! Avoid at all costs. Drinks ๐ท We drove, so no chance to try their cocktails. Locals say the cocktails are good; interested friends might want to give them a try. The server who attended to us was a middle-aged man with a terrible attitude. There was no service beyond taking the order. We begrudgingly left a tip. Seattle really is a culinary desert with no good food and no nightlife. If I were to recommend good food in Seattle, I would suggest driving two hours to Vancouver. #ItalianCuisine #DateNightRestaurant #WesternFood #Seattle #Avoid
