New American Restaurant in Greater Seattle - Salt and Iron

For New Year’s Eve, we chose to dine at Salt and Iron, a steakhouse located in the heart of Edmonds, which is a very atmospheric and delicious new American restaurant, perfect for dates or celebrating with friends and family. We were a party of four and ordered two appetizers and two main courses, with the main courses being large portions to share. Crispy Fingerlings Roasted potatoes and purple sweet potatoes, rich in seasoning, cheese, and black truffle flavor - delicious! 🥔🍠 Burrata Highly recommended!! Slices of bread paired with mozzarella cheese and a sweet and sour sauce, a very special appetizer. 🥐🧀 Salt and Iron 24oz Bone-In Ribeye Cooked to a perfect medium, not too raw, incredibly tender - the best ribeye I’ve had in the past six months, served with butter mashed potatoes, grilled prawns, and broccoli. Great for sharing. 🥩🦐 Seafood Pot We ordered the large size, and the portion was really generous! All the seafood was fresh, comes with sausage, potatoes, and bread, and the tomato-based sauce was delicious. Highly recommended! 🦀🍤 Shoestring fries Crispy side seasoning fries, quite good. 🍟 We also had cocktails, which were tasty but not particularly impressive, and there was a wide selection of red wines. For dessert, we had the New Year’s special countdown, a chocolate mousse. 🍷🍰 Overall, we had a very enjoyable and satisfying meal, and the service was excellent. The restaurant is not very large, and the seating is quite close, so it’s recommended to make a reservation if you’re going for a weekend dinner. Street parking is available, or you can park at the free Edmonds parking lot not far away. #AmericanRestaurant #Seattle #SeattleFoodExploration #DateNightRestaurant #SeattleLife #SeattleFood #SeattleSurroundings #SeattleDaily #edmonds #Edmonds
