New Homestyle Spot in Temple City

Temple City’s food strip just keeps getting better—it’s truly a happy place for hardworking folks looking for affordable eats! The latest addition is Red Lantern Restaurant, a cozy homestyle spot where lunch and dinner dishes start at just $11.99 and come with rice or soup 🥢💫 We tried their popular braised pork belly—five generous pieces served with a tea egg, beautifully glazed and totally satisfying. Their dry pot series is also solid: frog dry pot and cauliflower dry pot were both wok-fried to perfection.🙌😘 Even the crispy fried intestines were a tasty surprise! The menu is full of familiar, comforting dishes—perfect for days when you don’t feel like cooking, whether you’re dining solo or with friends. It reminds me of those neighborhood stir-fry joints back home—simple, warm, and welcoming. If I worked nearby, I could eat here every day without getting bored. With prices this good and hours until 2 AM (plus skewers at night!), this place is bound to become a go-to canteen for the local crowd. 🏮🍻 📍 Red Lantern Restaurant #EatLocalPaths #FoodInspo #LADining #LAEats#TempleCityEats #HomestyleCooking #AffordableLA
