New Korean Restaurant in LA's Chinese District ๐ฐ๐ท
๐ Last week, I tried a Korean spot in Temple City, LA. Itโs newly opened, run by a Korean owner ๐ฐ๐ท. The space is spacious and bright, with unique decor โ walls feature colorful paintings of people in hanbok ๐. Parking is also super convenient โ way better than Ktown, haha. ๐ฅ Six types of banchan are neatly arranged on a round plate โ looks fresh and appetizing. ๐ Hangang Korean Restaurant ๐ Opposite the Dah Chong Hong Supermarket in Temple City ๐ ฟ๏ธ Plenty of parking in the plaza ใGalbi Jjim โ Braised Beef Short Ribsใ We ordered the medium size, enough for 3โ4 people. The rib meat actually felt better than Sun Nong Danโs โ braised until tender and flavorful but still with a bit of chew. Comes with potatoes ๐ฅ and rice cakes. Definitely add cheese ๐ง if you like it โ so fragrant! ใBudae Jjigae โ Army Stewใ Finally found a single-serving army stew! Comes with ramen, Spam, tofu, sausage, kimchi, rice cakes โ lots of goodies. Now I know where to go when I crave army stew alone ๐ ใBibim Naengmyeon โ Spicy Cold Noodlesใ Who understands the redemption of a cold noodle bite in summer?! The noodles are smooth, chewy, and springy. Mixed with sauce, plus egg, cucumber ๐ฅ, and pickled radish โ tangy, refreshing, and super appetizing! #LAFood #100RestaurantChallenge #LosAngeles #LAEats #GlobalEats #NewInLA #LAAreaFood
