New Mexico Road Trip Journal 1️⃣ Breaking Bad Filming Locations 🎬

Albuquerque is quite an off-the-beaten-path travel city in the US. But any Breaking Bad fan will definitely know this place—it’s where Walter White’s story began. Culturally, it’s also a city that blends Spanish, Mexican, and American styles, which adds even more charm to its appeal ✨. 📸 Attractions 🎬 Breaking Bad Filming Location Check-In Route:Walter White’s House Residence[Location]➡️ Saul Goodman’s Office ➡️ The Car Wash Where Walt Worked ➡️ Twisters Fast Food Restaurant ➡️ Dog House. My husband is a die-hard Breaking Bad fan, so we spent half a day in Albuquerque navigating our way to check in at all these spots. I heard there are also local Breaking Bad tour groups—sounds like a great option too! 🛕 Old Town AlbuquerqueIt’s quite similar to Old Town San Diego: a tourist district filled with Mexican-style architecture, no admission fee, and tons of character. It’s perfect for browsing small craft shops and taking photos against the reddish-brown brick walls lining the streets 📸. Old Town centers around a church, plus there’s a small but exquisite central garden square. Often, bands play in the square—stopping here to sit on the grass and listen to the music is such a cozy, relaxing vibe 😌. 🚀 National Museum of Nuclear Science & HistoryAnother spot we visited thanks to my partner’s interests (shoutout to the guys!). We saw models of the two atomic bombs dropped on Japan—“Fat Man” and “Little Boy”—and checked out some military exhibitions. It’s a good place for a history lesson, especially ideal for military enthusiasts. Fellow travelers can decide whether to visit based on their interests! 🌮 Food & Drinks Pinto Restaurant & Cantina local internet-famous restaurant that’s hosted many celebrities—like former President George W. Bush. The entire restaurant is set in a beautiful, well-tended garden; its stunning, unique decor and great atmosphere have basically turned it into a local attraction itself 🌸. The cuisine here is called “New Mexican food”—to put it plainly, it’s American-style Mexican food. My review: 5 stars for the beautiful plating, 5 stars for the huge portions, but 3 stars for the taste. It’s perfect for people who love Mexican food or want to take pretty photos at a restaurant 📸! #NewMexicoRoadTrip #Albuquerque #BreakingBadFilmingLocations #TravelDiary
