New Mexico Travel | A Quick 5-Day Tour with 6 Adults and 4 Kids 📝
Day 1 🚗Depart from Dallas ➡️Stop at Amarillo Cadillac Ranch➡️Arrive in Albuquerque 🏨Stay at an Airbnb in Alq for the first three nights Day 2 ➡️Taos Pueblo (open on Thanksgiving) Adobe houses + snow-capped mountains 🏔️ ➡️Santa Fe, old town, when it starts to get dark, the orange lights on the buildings look beautiful, giving a mysterious vibe 🍽️Zeng (open on Thanksgiving) The cumin lamb, stir-fried pork, and shredded potatoes were all good Day 3 ➡️Albuquerque Old Town ➡️University of New Mexico 🍽️Frontier Across from UNM, a local restaurant with big portions and famous cinnamon rolls; ordering a set meal for more people is very filling ➡️Sandia Peak Tramway 🚠 So many people! Bought tickets for 3-5 PM, arrived at 4 PM, and didn't get on until after 6 PM. It was already dark, but the snow on the mountaintop was cold and refreshing, haha, a fun experience Day 4 ➡️McGinn's PistachioLand 🥜 Just okay ➡️White Sands National Park 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Highly recommended, the best place of the trip, not just for photos but also for actual fun (all the remaining photo slots are for the white sands) 🍽️Just Pho You 🍜 Met several groups of Chinese tourists haha 🏨Carlsbad Day 5 ➡️Carlsbad Caverns National Park Bat Cave (Planned to go but didn't make it; I visited years ago, and if you've seen the caves in China, this one seems less impressive) 🚗Return to Dallas #WinterTravelFavorites #DiscoverHiddenHomestays #NewMexicoTravel #RoadTrip #SantaFe #Albuquerque #WhiteSandsNationalPark #NewMexicoCuisine #TravelingWithKids
