New Modern Chinese Restaurant near Irvine π₯ | Qua
The well-known Kei Concept group has launched another new spot. Qua focuses on modern Chinese cuisine, serving dim sum and desserts all day, plus a variety of other dishes. Walked in and was instantly drawn to the glamorous bar. Their cocktails are strong and herbal β feels like drinking for health benefits π. Started with siu mai β decent flavor. The cucumber salad π₯ was tasty but cut so awkwardly it was hard to pick up β wanted to scold the chef! Favorite dish: Spicy Pig Ear β super fragrant, though portion was small. Also tried spicy Arctic surf clam. For mains, their popular Crab Roe Noodles came in a generous portion with visible crab meat π¦ β quite good. Also ordered Jajangmyeon (black bean noodles) β finished the whole bowl. Fried Chicken Cartilage was delicious and super spicy. Taiwanese Pork Chop was a bit dry. Pickled Mustard Greens with Beef β tender beef, crunchy greens β solid too. Celebrated a friendβs birthday and she ordered four desserts β a true dessert lover!
