New Moon PlogšŸŒ™ļ¼šEating Lobster in Boston is a Must! šŸ¦ž

Hello, happy weekend! Let's continue with the food spots I checked out during my time in Boston... Oh, Boston, my dream city! šŸ’™ Yang Guofu Malatang (YGF Malatang) You have no idea how happy it feels to taste hometown flavors so far away! Super authentic āļø Highly recommended! I tried the Northeast-style sticky mala soup and the spicy mala mix. The sesame paste was rich and fragrant, with a sweet and tangy kick—first bite and I was transported back home! The mala mix felt a little spicier than the soup, perfect for spice lovers. The mala soup broth was incredibly fresh, with bone broth and sesame paste—a heavenly combo... And it’s right across from Berklee rehearsal halls. So jealous... šŸ’™ Quincy Market – Boston & Maine Fish Company Walking through Quincy Market, I was drawn in by their display of fresh shrimp… all caught that morning. I ordered a lobster roll, clam chowder, and a side of shrimp. The lobster roll seasoning was bold and rustic. The clam chowder was wonderfully savory! The shrimp were also plump and bouncy… šŸ’™ Yume Ga Arukara Udon A super popular udon spot. I went after watching the ā€œclock running backwardā€ by the sea. The steaming hot broth warmed me right up—total happiness max... Hot Niku Udon & Spicy Niku Udon—the noodles were wonderfully chewy, the broth rich, and the beef slices delicious. If you like spice, definitely go for the spicy version! I personally liked it better than the original. In all my years abroad, this was hands down the most impressive udon I’ve had šŸœ... šŸ’™ Legal Sea Food A long-standing seafood restaurant since 1950. I visited this one at the airport. Even though I wasn’t super hungry, I felt like you just have to eat seafood when you’re in Boston! ✨ Fish & Chips: A classic. The fish fillet was almost as big as my face. Crispy and golden—no complaints except the portion was huge! ✨ Lobster Roll: The classic version. The meat was firm and tasty—definitely worth trying. ✨ Kylie Sparkling RosĆ©: A non-alcoholic drink with a light rose flavor, sweet and tangy, and the bubbles aren’t bloating! Perfect for cutting through richness. ✨ Boston Cream Pie: Teacher Chai said it was named the official state dessert of MA in 1996. Soft sponge cake at the bottom, topped with cream and drizzled with chocolate sauce. Surprisingly not too sweet… #NewMoonPlog #StudyAbroadLife #Lobster #BostonFood #MyStudyAbroadLife #LobsterRoll
