New Orleans: A True Food & Vibe Paradise! ๐ท๐ค
NOLA downtown is worth two full days of exploring! By day, soak in the historic French colonial vibes ๐๏ธ; by night, the city comes alive with bars, jazz, dancing, and neon lights that keep you mesmerized ๐. This trip was all about the food! We dined at Jewel of the South ๐ฝ๏ธ, a top-five U.S. bar serving French-inspired cuisine. The beef tongue was unforgettable โ tender, thick, and melt-in-your-mouth. The duck neck sausage was the priciest but richly flavored (a bit salty, but refined!). Their foie gras wasnโt seared but made a perfect spread for bread ๐ฅ. And the drink menu? Impressive! ๐ธ Another standout: charcoal-grilled oysters (Pic 12!) from the Hiltonโs ground-floor restaurant ๐ฆช. We went for a late-night snack and kept ordering more โ that good! We also had: Beignets ร3 ๐ฉ Gumbo ร2 ๐ฒ Jambalaya ร2 Fried chicken ร2 ๐ Southern food is just chefโs kiss โ Iโm officially a fan of soul food! โค๏ธ We took a swamp tour ๐, though the Louisiana gators were smaller than Floridaโs, and we couldnโt hold them ๐. The real stars? The wild pigs! ๐ Fast, loud, with long snouts for digging in the water โ hilarious and cute! Also loved the scenic riverwalk near the French Market ๐ โ perfect for golden-hour photos on a sunny day! ๐ธ #NOLA #NewOrleans #FoodieHeaven #SouthernEats #SwampLife #TravelGram #EatLikeALocal
