New Orleans: First Brunch at Two Chicks Cafe 🍳
Brunch culture in New Orleans is thriving, and for our first brunch, we chose Two Chicks Cafe right by our Airbnb! 🏡 I ordered the Under the Sea Omelet 🦀🍤—loaded with generous chunks of crab meat and bouncy, fresh shrimp. The first bite reminded me of the savory richness of dried seafood! Green peppers and onions added a nice crunch, and a hint of dill complemented the buttery seafood aroma perfectly. The creative twist? They added brie cheese! It was tasty and savory, though it didn’t fully blend into the omelet. My friend got the Crab Cake Benedict 🥚, served with a Cajun hollandaise sauce that’s full of Southern American flair! Lots of international diners in the cafe—many of the nearby tables were enjoying pancakes and French toast.
