New Orleans | Checking In at Taylor Swift's

🤩 Lilette – The French Restaurant Taylor Swift and Her Boyfriend Visited During the Super Bowl This weekend, I finally had time to check it out with my Swiftie friend!🍔🍔 -shows the table where the server said Taylor Swift sat that night. - It is the menu – I marked the dishes Taylor ordered, based on online info and what the staff told me.🍎 Overall, it’s a solid French restaurant.🍝🍝 🥂 Mocktails (2 types) - QT Cup: Blended with ginger juice, Ginger Ale, cucumber, etc. - Hibiscus Spirit: With grapefruit. Both are light and refreshing.🍲🍲 🍤 Appetizers - 👍 Sizzling Shrimp: Highly recommended. Fresh shrimp tossed in a lemon-oregano vinaigrette, offering a bright, layered flavor. 🍱 When served, the shrimp were still sizzling on the hot plate, filling the air with a tempting aroma. The bread was clearly house-made – it paired well with the sauce.🍛🍛 - 🐟 Crudo of Blue Fin Tuna: A chalkboard special appetizer. As a sashimi lover, I found it “just okay” – the fish was good, and the dressing was fine, but there was nothing standout about it.🌳🌳 🥘 Main Courses - 👍 Roasted Muscovy Duck Breast: A classic, foolproof choice. The duck was cooked to a pink center, and the butter-sautéed cauliflower on the side was delicious.☘️ - 🐑 Braised Lamb Shoulder: Not my recommendation. The overall flavor was too tangy. The lamb was tender enough to bite through easily, but the accompanying coarse wheat dumplings were overly salty.🙉 🍮 Desserts - 🥥 Coconut Cake: Taylor Swift’s order. It had toasted coconut flakes, cream, and butter cake – the flavor was like a typical American dessert, which was a bit too sweet for my taste.🍐🎼 - 🍓 Strawberry Semolina Cake: A chalkboard daily dessert. It’s a traditional Middle Eastern cake made with semolina, with a slightly chewy, sweet, and moist texture. Tasted great.👍👍 The restaurant is small, with little space between tables. Most lunch guests were older “old money” folks – some dressed elegantly, others more casually.🍊🍊 The staff clearly take pride in their food. When we asked about ordering Taylor Swift’s (same dishes), an older server even said, “Seriously?” It seems they’d rather attract customers with their great food than rely on a celebrity’s fame.👀 A middle-aged couple at the next table ordered Seared Grouper and Sautéed Striped Bass and raved about both. If you’re into fish dishes, you should give them a try.💕💕 #HighlyRecommendLocalFood #NewOrleans #NewOrleansFood #FrenchCuisine #TaylorSwift #Swiftie
