New Orleans Food & Drinks Guide 📝

Who said New Orleans doesn’t have amazing food?! Thanks to its French colonial roots, NOLA’s cuisine blends French, Spanish, and more — creating the unique Creole and Cajun flavors you won’t find anywhere else! 💖 Must-try | 🤔️ Not bad | 💔 Skip unless curious 💖 Luke Go during Happy Hour for fresh, plump oysters 🦪 and half-price drinks! Their fried oysters are also fantastic. 🤔️ GW Fins An anticipated French spot, but pretty average. The only standout? The biscuits 😅. 💖 Drago’s Seafood Restaurant Just steps from the riverside! Must-order: chargrilled oysters — buttery, garlicky, and absolutely addictive 🤤. Also try their alligator tacos! 💖 Cafe Beignet Beignets (French-style donuts) aren’t as sweet as you’d think! Paired with a café au lait ☕️, it’s pure bliss. 💖 Deanie’s Seafood Restaurant My favorite — even recommended by local guides! Everything’s good, but try the BBQ shrimp and seafood platter. Grilled oysters are great too! 💔 Bearcat CBD Ordered crab scramble; my friend got the cat daddy biscuit (fried chicken + sunny egg + biscuit). She said the sauce was too heavy. A very average brunch spot — skip if there’s a line 😓. NOLA Nights = Bar Time! 🍹 End your day with a drink (or two)! 💖 Jewel of the South 🌼 Feast of Avalon — fruity upfront, with a smoky cinnamon finish. Perfect balance of fruit, herbs, and smoke. 🌼 Sticky Rice Colada — rum-based with a noticeable rice wine flavor. Unique and tasty! 💖 Peychaud’s at the Celestine 🌼 Ramos Gin Fizz — citrusy, silky smooth from gin + cream + egg white. My friend’s review: “Sweet and delicious!” 😍 ✨ Fun fact: On our flight back, a local recognized us and also recommended this spot — so fellow drink lovers, you gotta go! #NewOrleansFood #NOLATravelGuide #NOLAEats #WhereToDrinkInNOLA #FoodAndDrinks #TravelNOLA
