New Restaurant in Bellevue, Seattle | Shanghai King Dumplings
📍2245 140th Ave NE, Bellevue, WA 98005 We ordered for two people: Scallion Oil Noodles with Pork Chop 🍜, Fried Pork Cutlet 🥩, and Combo A (🥟 pan-fried dumplings, 🍲 beef curry vermicelli soup, and 🥛 soy milk). 🥩 Fried Pork Cutlet — pretty good! 🥟 Pan-Fried Dumplings — the filling was tasty, but the wrapper wasn’t fully cooked — more tough than crispy, and the middle of the wrapper was still white. Might just be inconsistency in the kitchen, but personally I prefer thinner wrappers and slightly smaller dumplings. 🍜 Scallion Oil Noodles with Pork Chop — I personally liked the fried pork cutlet more than the braised pork chop. The noodles were fine flavor-wise to me, but my dining partner thought they weren’t sweet enough. 🍲 Beef Curry Vermicelli Soup — this was my first time trying it, and I found it interesting. The flavor was okay, just not really my taste. My friend thought it was decent though. Overall, it felt a bit pricey, but the owner and staff were very friendly. Looking forward to their new menu 😄. #Seattle#Seattleguide#Seattlefood#fooddiary#Seattlelife#SeattleBellevue
