New York | Chalong Team Opens a New Thai BBQ Place! 🌟
Lincoln Center has a brand-new high-end Thai BBQ restaurant, a sister restaurant to Chalong and Soothr. It’s Manhattan’s first Thai hot pot! 🌟 The two-in-one pot is so interesting!✨ The top layer is for grilling meat, while the bottom layer is for boiling vegetables and egg noodles. The chicken broth gets richer and more flavorful as it simmers (the Egg Noodles are semi-cooked and need to be boiled). 🌽 The Tum Khao Pod, a salted egg yolk corn salad, is tangy and appetizing with a delightful seasoning. The Scallop Crudo with Sichuan peppercorns has a lingering sweetness and a tingling sensation on the tongue that’s really addictive. We ordered the $140 Classic Set, which was perfect for two.🥩 The Moo Krata, thick-cut pork belly mixed with egg, sizzles on the grill, releasing an irresistible aroma. The Marinated Brisket has a perfect marbling of fat and a long-lasting fragrance. The Prime Outside Skirt has a steak-like texture but is even more tender. The additional beef tongue was exceptionally fresh, with a crisp and chewy texture. 🥛 The post-meal yogurt ice cream is very refreshing, without the heaviness of cream, making it the perfect palate cleanser. 🧋 The Cha Peach is a Thai milk tea with a plum juice flavor on top, not the usual overly sweet kind. The entire restaurant has a warm, reddish-copper interior that makes you feel hungry and excited to eat. It was my first time trying Thai hot pot, and the meat quality was excellent.
