New York | Favorite Japanese Izakaya (1)๐ฑ
Second visit to Okatte Tanto, and it's officially one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in New York! The summary: delicious, can't get enough, and will definitely come back for more! ๐ Here are my favorite dishes: ๐ Rice in cold broth with red snapper sashimi The ultimate tea-soaked rice in my book! The cool broth pairs perfectly with the fresh red snapper sashimi, and every bite is a delightful surprise. ๐ฃ ๐ Assorted sashimi The sashimi platter always features a different selection of fish, but the quality is consistently top-notch. The variety is impressive, and the freshness is off the charts. ๐ฃ ๐ Oden (Japanese hot pot) Ordered the beef tendon and daikon radish. They look simple, but each ingredient is incredibly delicious. The beef tendon is tender and flavorful, the daikon is soaked in savory broth, and the Oden broth itself is super fresh. ๐ฅข #MustTryInNYC #NewYorkFood #NewYorkJapanese Cuisine ๐๐ข
