Hunan Slurp π112 1st Ave., New York, NY 10009 Waking up and diving into some Hunan cuisine made this Hunan native super happy! π Eggplant and Century Egg π A small appetizer that didn't quite hit the mark. The ingredients were served separately, not mashed together like in traditional spicy eggplant dishes. Frog Legs πΈ The texture was good, but the flavor was a bit lacking. It needed more seasoning to really shine. Hengyang Double Pepper Chicken π The chicken was tender and smooth, making it a great dish to enjoy with rice. Signature Braised Noodles π The chopped chili was a bit overpowering, with a spicy kick that overshadowed the savory flavors of the noodles.
