📍 Hakubai This newly opened kaiseki restaurant in New York is a gem! Every single dish is delicious and feels thoughtfully crafted. The final course, the eel two-ways (over rice and as chawanmushi), was heavenly! 😍 Since it’s new, it’s still relatively easy to book, and the prices are quite reasonable. Don’t miss out! I think this will become my go-to spot! Highly recommend the oden and the pike conger eel chawanmushi. Every dish we tried was fantastic—no misses! Nama Aman This is the new Japanese restaurant inside the Aman hotel in New York. It’s not open for public reservations yet, but you can book via email, and it’s surprisingly easy! When we went, my friend and I had the whole place to ourselves—it was such a cool experience! 😛 The chef is as handsome as they say online. The food was good, but nothing mind-blowing. It’s more about the ambiance and the overall vibe. Per person: 💲600 #NewYork 🌃🌟
