New York's Thai food --Tha Phraya
1️⃣ Goong Gaew (Raw Marinated Shrimp): The shrimp is soft, sticky, and sweet. The sour and slightly spicy dipping sauce is very appetizing. A must-try for those who enjoy raw dishes! 2️⃣ Sal-ua Spring Rolls: The spring rolls contain a filling similar to Thai sausage, packed with strong spices and very spicy, making it great for pairing with alcohol. 3️⃣ Crab Fried Rice Lava: The crab meat fried rice looks good but the flavors are average. The eggs, crab meat, and rice seem a bit separate. 4️⃣ Squid Kai-Kem: The salted egg yolk squid is surprisingly delicious! The squid is tender, and the underlying Thai salted egg yolk chili sauce is particularly outstanding, adding fragrance to whatever it's dipped in. 5️⃣ Pae Sa Pla Tod (Grilled Fish): The featured grilled fish has a nice sour and spicy flavor, but it's not particularly astonishing. 6️⃣ Goong Karee (Yellow Curry Prawn): A very tasty yellow curry with prawns! The rich, creamy curry is filled with egg bits and chewy prawns, making it a perfect mix of salty and sweet when eaten with rice. 📍 Tha Phraya 1553 2nd Ave, New York, NY 10028 #Tha Phraya#New York#food diary # Thai food
