New York♡Unexpectedly Fell in Love with This Ramen Shop

🍜Kame Japanese Ramen Shop One Friday night, after a spa session left me famished, I wandered around Midtown for almost an hour, searching for a walk-in restaurant that caught my eye. 🌟I wasn't in the mood to just head home and order takeout. Finally, I stumbled upon Kame, a ramen shop that had been on my wishlist for ages but always slipped my mind. When I arrived, there was literally one minute left before last orders, and just one seat available. Everything felt perfectly timed. When it comes to Japanese ramen shops in New York, the first names that usually come to mind are Ichiran, Ippudo, or Totto Ramen. 🍜 But Kame turned out to be just as delicious. The tonkotsu broth was incredibly rich. (Though it seems like the thicker the Japanese ramen broth, the saltier it gets, which might be a common trait.) The matcha pudding was right up my alley—sweetness just right, melting in the mouth. 🌟 The slight bitterness of the matcha balanced out the richness of the pudding. And let's not forget the long-lost yet delightful takoyaki. Lately, I've been struggling with the lack of delivery options from Manhattan's restaurants, which makes me want to move back to the island. 🍜 But the thought of giving up the skyline view right from my home is still a bit hard to let go. I guess I'll keep wavering for a while longer. #NewYork 🌃🌟
