Newly Opened Yakitori Spot in LA: Torikizoku 🍢✨

Name: Torikizoku Address: 21839 Hawthorne Blvd, Torrance, CA 90503 Seeing that it’s in Torrance, I knew it wouldn’t disappoint — that area is full of Japanese spots competing with each other, and most are pretty solid. This place just opened recently and feels clean and fresh. Waited about 1–1.5 hours in line, which wasn’t unbearable. Straight to the point: $4 per skewer, except beef and eel which are $8 each. We ordered every skewer on the menu 🍢. Here’s the rundown: ✅ Delicious: Chicken gizzard / Chicken wings / Scallops / Eel / Shrimp / Quail eggs! ❌ Chicken cartilage was pretty bland. ⚠️ The chicken with plum sauce skewer… let’s just say I couldn’t even swallow it. Also tried the AJI FRY (fried horse mackerel) — a bit greasy and heavy. On the bottom left of the menu under “Small Mains”, there are two options: ramen and chicken rice, each $8. Both were really good — we practically licked the bowls clean! 😋🍚🍜 Overall, definitely worth a visit — didn’t feel like we wasted our money at all! #YakitoriLover #ImmersiveJapaneseFood #IzakayaEats #LAEats #LAYakitori #LABBQ
