🌟 NEWPORT One-Day Trip

🇺🇸 UCONN Exchange Student | Day 16 Today was all about exploring Newport, Rhode Island! My itinerary was packed but perfect: The Breakers → Rosecliff → Marble House → Fort Adams. I set off bright and early at 7:30 AM, and by 9 AM, I’d arrived and dived right into the fun. Let me tell you—those mansions were stunningly grand! Every room was decked out in gold and luxury, like stepping into a Gilded Age fairy tale 🏛️. After touring the mansions, I wandered along Cliff Walk, with the three estates dotted along the trail. And then—the moment I’d been waiting for—I saw the ocean for the first time… the real ocean, the Atlantic! 🌊 I stood there listening to the waves crash against the rocks, breathing in that fresh, salty sea air, and feeling the warm sun on my face. I even put on the song “Want to Go to the Beach” (Xiang Qu Hai Bian) to match the vibe—total perfection. I’d dreamed of seeing the ocean like this for so long, and today, on a “naturally sunny day” (just like the song says!), it finally appeared right in front of me. The happiness felt so real it was almost surreal—like I was in a dream I never wanted to wake up from 😊. This day was easily one of the best since I started my exchange program—memories I’ll hold onto forever! #USA #Newport #Travel #ExchangeLife
