Niagara Falls Dining | Fresh Oysters & Seafood Feast

You might’ve noticed my recent Canada check-ins—I spent Thanksgiving exploring Eastern Canada, and of course, a trip to Toronto isn’t complete without visiting Niagara Falls! While the food scene here isn’t huge, I stumbled upon a fantastic oyster bar that’s worth the detour. 📍 Tide and Vine Oyster House 📌 Located in Niagara Falls city center (a short drive from the main tourist strip) 💰 ~CAD $50 per person 📅 Not too crowded on weekdays, but reservations recommended ✨ Why It’s Great Cozy, family-owned vibe – Small but charming, with a fresh seafood-focused menu (including luxury platters if you’re feeling fancy!). Oysters are the star – Their selection changes daily based on market availability (we tried 7 varieties!), each paired with house-made sauces. Upscale but unpretentious – Perfect for a relaxed yet gourmet meal. 🦪 Must-Order Dishes ❤️ Oysters on Ice Ultra-fresh, sourced from different regions. The mignonette and spicy sauces elevated them even more! ❤️ Steamed Mussels Plump, juicy mussels in a rich tomato broth—so good we sopped up every drop with the buttery bread. ❤️ Scallops & Pork A creative combo: crispy, sweet-savory pork belly paired with seared scallops (perfect texture contrast!). ❤️ Lobster Roll Classic but well-executed—generous lobster meat on toasted buttery brioche, served with a side of potato salad. 📌 Final Verdict In a touristy area where great food is hard to find, Tide and Vine delivers with fresh, thoughtfully prepared seafood. If you’re craving oysters or a solid seafood meal near the falls, this is the spot! #NiagaraFalls #NiagaraEats #TorontoFoodie #SeafoodLover #OysterBar #CanadaTravel #FoodieFinds #LobsterRoll #EatLikeALocal
