No one knows, but in this library, I can't focus on reading.
馃嚟馃嚭 Did you know there's a hidden gem of a library in Budapest? 馃摎 The Metropolitan Szabo Ervin Library (near Kalvin t茅r metro station) is located east of the Hungarian National Museum. It's Budapest's largest public library and is considered one of the most beautiful libraries in the world. The entire library is housed within the Wenckheim Palace, which was built in 1889 as the residence of Hungarian magnate Wenckheim and is a prime example of Hungarian Neo-Baroque architecture. In 1927, the Budapest city government purchased the palace, and the library moved in in 1931. 鈽曪笍 If you have some free time in Budapest, consider visiting this library. There's a caf茅 on the first floor, but drinks and food are not allowed in the reading rooms. 馃帿 To visit the library, you'll need to purchase a ticket on-site for 1900 Ft (about 38 RMB). The library also offers guided tours in German, Hungarian, and English for 5000 Ft per person (about 100 RMB), which need to be booked in advance via email or phone. 鈱氾笍 Opening Hours : - Monday to Friday: 10:00 - 20:00 - Saturday: 10:00 - 16:00 - Sunday: Closed 馃嚟馃嚭 Wishing everyone a joyful holiday and a pleasant stay in Hungary. 鉂わ笍 I'm Jie Dabao, who loves to explore and offers warm, principled experiences. 馃摙 Based on my 6 years of European adventures, I've compiled a 馃搾 guide.
