NOLA☕️ Hidden Gem Coffee Shop — Amazing Coffee & Pastries! 👍
After arriving in New Orleans, I first tried the Café au lait at Cafe Beignet, but honestly it was pretty plain — not very aromatic or special. Their beignets were good though! Then I found this Italian-style coffee spot not far from the French Quarter — and wow, what a treasure! Great vibe, delicious coffee, and their bakery items are fantastic too. 🍴 Fourth Wall 📍 614 Gravier St, New Orleans, LA 70130 The space is spacious and stylish — totally different from the usual NOLA vibe, and way bigger than most NYC coffee shops. Perfect for studying or working! Since I hadn’t had lunch, I ordered the blueberry scone and the shroom boom 🍄. The scone was huge and not too sweet — when warmed up, it gave off that comforting carb aroma. The occasional blueberry added a nice sweet-tart touch. Not buttery-crisp, but still really good 😋. The mushroom croissant was savory and fragrant — not super flaky in the middle because of the mushroom moisture, but tasty and well-seasoned. Their pastries are supplied locally by Ayu Bakery. The coffee beans here have a rich rum-like flavor with a hint of acidity — my mom and I usually don’t like sour notes, but this was really nice. With oat milk in a latte, it was fragrant and smooth… though the cup was a bit small! Overall, if you’re tired of the local coffee scene in NOLA, give this place a try! #CoffeeShop #CafeLife #NewOrleans #NOLAFood #PastryLove #HiddenGem 🥐☕️💛
