NOLA ☕️ Hidden Gem Café – Amazing Coffee & Pastries!
After arriving in New Orleans, I first tried the famous Cafe au lait at Cafe Beignet — but honestly, it was pretty average 😕. Nothing special in flavor, though their beignets were tasty! The real treasure? This Italian-style café not far from the French Quarter — Fourth Wall! Loved the vibe, coffee, and bakery items 🥐❤️. 🍴 Fourth Wall 📍 614 Gravier St, New Orleans, LA 70130 The space is beautiful, spacious (way bigger than most NYC cafés!), and perfect for working or studying 💻. We skipped lunch, so we ordered: Blueberry Scone: Huge and not too sweet! Heated up, it gave off that warm, comforting carb vibe 🧁. The blueberries added a nice tang — not a buttery, crumbly scone, but delicious in its own way. Shroom Boom Croissant: Savory and fragrant with mushrooms 🍄. A bit soft in the middle (thanks to the moisture), but full of flavor and not overly salty. ☕ Coffee Note: Their beans have a distinct rum-like aroma with a hint of acidity — usually not my thing, but it worked beautifully in an oat milk latte! My mom (also not an acid-coffee fan) approved 😊. My only complaint? The cup was too small — I wanted more! 🥖 Bakery Source: Their pastries come from Ayu Bakery — a local favorite 🥨. If you’re tired of the usual NOLA coffee spots, give Fourth Wall a try. A cozy, tasty escape in the city! #CafeLife #FourthWallNOLA #NewOrleansCoffee #HiddenGems #PastryLove #StudySpot #NOLAEats #CoffeeLovers
