NOLA Cafés Perfect for Working ☕️💻 | ⚜️ New Orleans Travel
During this trip, I spent three afternoons exploring cafés — just sitting down to write papers or handle miscellaneous tasks. I was in NOLA for six days and five nights, and having those slow afternoons to work or study made for such a comfortable travel rhythm 🧡. Sharing NOLA spots great for working / cafés by day, bars by night: 📍 Fourth Wall In the CBD, close to Luke — about a 10+ minute walk from the French Quarter. This place is so comfortable 😭 — plenty of seating, indoor and outdoor areas. The lighting is lovely, and there’s even a large back room. Super work-friendly vibe. Coffee is great, and I tried a burrito around lunchtime — also good! ✅ Wifi ✅ Outlets 🕒 7am–3pm 📍 Trumpet & Drum Coffee House On Magazine Street in the Garden District. This street is full of other cafés and vintage shops — worth exploring! Not a huge number of seats, but bright and spacious. ✅ Wifi ✅ Outlets 🕒 7am–7pm 📍 Gospel Coffee and Boozy Treats (no photo) In the CBD, located inside a hotel lobby. Downside: limited seating. Upside: open until 7pm. ❌ Wifi ✅ Outlets 🕒 7am–7pm 📍 Dovetail Bar: Coffee & Cocktails On the northern edge of the French Quarter, near Canal St. Since many cafés close early, sometimes I write at quiet bars if the music isn’t too loud and they’re not too busy 🍸. ❌ Wifi ✅ Outlets 🕒 ☕️ 8am–2pm | 🍸 3pm–11pm (weekends until 12am) That’s my list! 😄 I don’t know why I can only focus in cafés or slightly noisy places — at home or in libraries it’s so hard for me 😅. Back in Philly, I’m also always hunting for study-friendly cafés to spend afternoons in. Maybe I’ll share Philly spots next time — I have so many to recommend! #NOLA #NewOrleans #TravelNOLA 🌟📓🎶
