Nomura Art Museum
Kyoto has such a lasting charm! I highly recommend the tea houses, museums, and confectionery shops there. πΈ ππ’ The red leaves are incredibly beautiful, and the streets are perfect for strolling. ππΈThe old shops are so captivating that you'll never want to leave. Between Nanzen-ji Temple and Eikan-do Temple, there's the Nomura Museum. ππ’ For just 700 yen, you can enjoy a set of matcha and traditional sweets. ππΈ Seeing a few women savoring their treats alone taught me what mindfulness truly means. It's about respecting the food, the ritual, and even the vessels that hold it. ππ’ They show gratitude for the process of creating the matcha's creamy froth. Their gentle demeanor and kind eyes, twinkling with goodness, make you feel bathed in the light of beautiful souls. π ππΈThey eat the sweets first, then sip the tea, which naturally makes you sit up straight and savor the moment. The sweets are seasonal maple leaf-shaped yΕkan, as beautiful as works of art, as if the season is frozen in time. This place is highly recommended. Amidst the bustling crowds and vibrant leaves outside, it offers a brief moment of tranquility that will be cherished forever. π It's far more valuable than the noisy red leaf forest confectionery and matcha shops below Eikan-do. ππ΅ #KyotoTravel π
