Norikaya|Tried Liza’s Same Gorgeous Meal! 💕
Located in Ktown, I’ve had this place bookmarked for a long time—finally got to try it with a friend! It’s not as crazy busy as it was when it first opened, so reservations are super easy now. The flavors aren’t purely traditional Japanese—more like creative Japanese fusion style 👌 We ordered their tasting menu—portions were huge! The crispy rice appetizer was delicious: crunchy outside, topped with fragrant tuna 🍣. The caviar tart looked super photogenic, with each pearl popping nicely, but the taste was just okay. For the main, I went with the taco—highly recommend! 👍 The minced meat was slightly sweet, almost like a Thai basil rice bowl. By the time the handroll came, I was already full. The strawberry unagi handroll was creative and not bad at all! Dessert was a grape sorbet—refreshing and light 🍇 🍹 The drinks were just okay—my friend and I agreed it tasted like yuzu juice with a splash of water. You can skip those. Have you been to Norikaya?
