North Carolina Charlotte Food Recommendations
Visited Charlotte for a spring outing on the weekend. Besides the well-known牛角 (bull horn), I’d like to specially recommend Haberdish’s fried chicken (you can opt out of the waffle) and Fahrenheit’s night view & cocktails. 🌸 I heard about Haberdish’s fried chicken from other girls’ notes and made a special trip to try it. There’s a parking lot right across from Haberdish, but remember, it’s not free; it’s a paid lot, $10 for 3 hours. The restaurant is quite popular and always crowded; we went at 8 pm on a Saturday and it was full. 🌸Now, about the fried chicken, it does take a bit of time to arrive, so I suggest ordering a starter to munch on while you wait. We had the deviled eggs, which were salty and delicious, but I didn’t get a chance to take a photo. 🌸The fried chicken was amazing—thin, crispy coating that’s not greasy at all, so it doesn’t feel heavy, and the chicken inside was super juicy. The seasoning was spot on, salty but not too much, and the crispy skin with the juicy meat was just too good! The waffle is an additional $5, but I wouldn’t recommend it because the waffle is very dense, not fluffy, and the syrup wasn’t that great. 🌸 Fahrenheit is a must-visit. After ordering your meal, you can go outside to enjoy the night view, which is beautiful. It was a bit chilly when we went, but there was a row of fires, so we could drink, warm up by the fire, and enjoy the night view, which was awesome. For food, we ordered a “Great Gatsby” cocktail (pretty strong, seems high in alcohol content), and “Jamaican Me Crazy,” which is on the sweet side and girls might like it, but it doesn’t photograph well. We also had a kale salad, which was dressed with an oil and vinegar dressing and was delicious! #Food #Charlotte #NorthCarolinaUSA
