Ann Arbor’s Scenic Brunch Spot – Pretty Vibe, So-So Food (But Great for Sunbathing!) The weather was surprisingly nice that day, so I wandered around and stumbled on this brunch spot—hooked immediately by the flowers and greenery outside! I thought, “Anyone who keeps a tiny shop this lovely must be someone who loves life… and their food must be good too!” (Okay, fine—I also heard friends rave about it 😂.) The potato cakes are so lazy—they taste like they were just quickly heated up, no crisp, no flavor (total missed opportunity 😕). But the cheese-sauce combo is good enough to make this the only “flavorful” dish. Omelet: Bland and dry, 0/10. The cheese inside wasn’t melted (totally ruined the creamy texture I love!), and the egg itself was overcooked—tough, not fluffy at all. I had to dump tons of salt and pepper just to taste something 🧂. Mystery Dish (Forgot the Name): Also boring—no standout flavors, just plain and under-seasoned.
