π Friends in LIC are in luck! It's right upstairs from the Food Hall, opposite the JP building! So convenient to grab a meal on your way home after class or work β Sushi Nikko π π 28-17 Jackson Ave, 2nd Flr, Long Island City, NY 11101 Price-wise, it's a total steal! π€ 12-course meal for $68 πͺ 16-course meal for $98 πͺ π£π£π£ What really struck me was how thoughtful the chef was. Every time a piece of sashimi was served, the assistant would write the name of the fish in Chinese next to it. π This is perfect for those who haven't tried omakase before or want to learn more about different types of fish! π£ The highlight for me was the nigiri section. The toro was packed full of rich, fatty meat β you could tell it was super fresh and high-quality. The delicious horse mackerel, melt-in-your-mouth coral shrimp, and the caramelized eel (which Americans would love) with its tender and flavorful meat all left a lasting impression. π π This place is perfect when you finish class or work and have no idea what to eat.
