Oahu, Honolulu Food Guide β We Ate It All! π€©
Just got back to LA β still sorting through all the food videos π₯Ί Hereβs a roundup of what we tried β zero disappointments this time! All highly recommended π π Island Vintage Coffee Waikiki π₯― Must-order: Ube Bagel β so good! βοΈ Try the coconut smoothie β even better than their coffee (which is also great). π Pro tip: Go around 7 AM to skip the line β sit on the left side inside. π‘ Order less sugar β everything here is sweet! π Sushi Sho π£ Omakase experience β incredibly fresh (we got chutoro!). π° Expensive and booked 2 months ahead β not the best value, but great for a special memory. π Captainβs Fresh Coral Shrimp π¦ BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK! $80 for 5 lbs of giant coral shrimp β each as big as your palm! π Book via phone (check comments for number β not always available). We had it prepared at Yi Xin Cafe ($18/lb cooking fee) β sashimi, salt & pepper, boiled, and in soup. Absolutely worth it! π Hau Tree Restaurant π Best sunset view in Waikiki! β° We reserved 2 weeks ahead β they cancel if youβre 15 mins late! We got moved to the bar (still great views). Food is okay β youβre really here for the vibe! π KCC Farmersβ Market π Open Saturdays until 10:30 AM β fresh fruits (a bit pricey but unique). βοΈ Try Apple Star (weird but sweet and chewy!). Great if youβre short on time and want to try local produce. π Five Star Poke π 11 types of poke β you can mix & match! The owner is super sweet π β add your own toppings. Walkable in Waikiki β highly recommend! π Totoya π Best chirashi bowl ever β fresh fish, authentic vibe. β οΈ Small shop β expect lines. Closed 2:30β5 PM β check Google before going! #HawaiianFood #OahuEats #HonoluluFood #FoodieTravel #EatLikeALocal #TravelAndEat
