Oak Alley Plantation Restaurant — Major Disappointment 😞

A lot of people said the restaurant at the plantation was delicious, so my expectations were high — but honestly, it was such a letdown!! 1️⃣ Shrimp Gumbo ⭕️ — Average at best. Pretty much the peak of the meal, and that’s saying something. 2️⃣ Crawfish Bread ❌ — Super, super greasy — felt like biting into oil 😣. 3️⃣ Chicken Fricassee ❌ — The chicken was dry, tough, and had a gamey taste — really unpleasant. 4️⃣ Crawfish Étouffée Over Fried Fish ⭕️ — Probably the most edible main dish. The flavor was okay, mid-tier. The crawfish sauce was actually the same as the one on the crawfish bread — just served differently. 5️⃣ Seafood Platter ⭕️ — Standard, passable. But the fish inside was the same as in dish #4. This place really loves remixing the same few ingredients 🌀. In summary: Typical tourist spot food — not as amazing as some posts make it out to be.
