If I could recommend only one BBQ spot in California, it’d be Anjin — truly more flavorful than many others I’ve tried. It’s a Japanese-style yakiniku spot. I recommend going straight for: 📌 #3 Beef Tongue — crispy when grilled, and the corn on the side gets fragrant too. 📌 #4 Prime Short Ribs — rich marbling, super satisfying. 📌 #11 Pork Cheek — amazing aroma and crispy-chewy texture (my favorite!). Portions aren’t huge, but quality is top. 🍚 For mains: stone pot bibimbap or cold noodles — the noodles are refreshing and not spicy. 🍧 Dessert: pineapple or coconut sorbet — not too sweet, very clean finish. ⚠️ One catch — I always arrive by 5 PM sharp to catch the first seating.
