Personal take: Over the years, I’ve explored most destinations within a 1-2 hour drive from LA—but somehow Ojai stayed under the radar until now. What a gem for a staycation! 1. First and foremost—the scenery and environment are stunning. Perfect for family trips, and yes, dog-friendly too! 🐶 Just look at the photos (and there are plenty more where these came from!). With giant Christmas trees and holiday decorations, the vibe was absolutely magical. 🎄✨ 2. The property is huge! Shuttles run from check-in to your room. The golf facilities are top-tier—rivaling those at Trump National, Pelican Hill, and the Waldorf Astoria in Dana Point—complete with golf carts ready for the course. 🏌️♂️ Prefer other activities? They offer yoga, biking, and more, plus dedicated bike trails throughout the grounds. 🚴♀️🧘♀️ 3. The on-site restaurants are all delicious—more details to come in a follow-up post! 🍽️ If you have a long weekend or a few days off, I highly recommend staying a night or two for a slow-paced, fully relaxing staycation.
