🌴 Okinawa, Japan 5-Day 4-Night Travel Guide Share
💭 Travel Preparations 1️⃣ Visa: For Okinawa, you can apply for the Japan Okinawa Tohoku Six Prefectures Multiple Tourist Visa (this visa allows you to visit Okinawa or the Tohoku six prefectures, and then go anywhere in Japan within the next 3 years). If you're planning to go to Okinawa, it's recommended to get this visa. It cost me 98 yuan, and I received it within a week after submitting the documents. 2️⃣ Internet: You can buy a data SIM card. If traveling with a group, consider renting a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot that can connect multiple devices, which is relatively cost-effective. 3️⃣ Cash: Exchange yen in advance, but not too much, as Alipay and WeChat Pay are widely accepted in Okinawa. They are basically usable in convenience stores and large shops, and many restaurants also accept them. UnionPay cards are generally accepted, and many buses allow UnionPay card payments. 4️⃣ Accommodation: It's recommended to stay near Kokusai Street for convenient travel. 💭 Itinerary Planning 🔴 Day 1: Naha Airport ➡️Kokusai Street ➡️Hotel The first stop in Okinawa , right across from the airport. Naha Airport offers luggage delivery services to hotels, so you don't have to drag your luggage (for details, see my homepage articles). Take the TK02 bus from the airport, and you'll arrive in 2 stops. has many scattered white buildings full of Mediterranean charm and is known as the Santorini of Okinawa. It's a perfect spot for photo, watching planes take off and land, and sunsets ✈️🌅 (including fighter jets 😂) ‼️ (Picture 2) After watching the sunset, take the TK02 to Akamine Station and transfer to the monorail to Kokusai Street for dining and shopping ‼️ 🔴 Day 2: Hase Shrine ➡️ Tsuboya Pottery Street ⛩ Hase Shrine, as the name suggests, the "Palace on the Waves," enshrines deities of maritime safety and transportation. The shrine is located on a small island surrounded by clear seawater and beautiful coral reefs. After praying for safety, you can play on the beach, swim in the sea, or sunbathe 🏖 (Pictures 3-6) After leaving Hase Shrine, take the bus to Tsuboya Pottery Street near Kokusai Street. The whole street is filled with pottery shops, various bowls, plates, cups, and other ceramic items. There are many treasure shops where you can take your time and find some you like (Pictures 7-8). 🔴 Day 3: American Village Originally scheduled to go to Uganfa Island, but due to bad weather, the boat stopped running, so decided to go to Chatan's American Village, near the U.S. military base, originally a U.S. military base site, later developed into a comprehensive leisure area integrating shopping, dining, and entertainment. Full of American style and full of dopamine colors, it's very photogenic (Pictures 9-13). 🔴 Day 4: Manzamo ➡️ Kouri Island ➡️ Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium In the north of Okinawa, transportation is inconvenient, so I booked a one-day tour. First, I went to Manzamo, then to Kouri Island (the itinerary was tight, only playing on the beach by the bridge for 30 minutes). The highlight must be the Crayon Shin-chan same version 📍Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, to see the whale shark 🐋 (Pictures 14-18) #JapanTravel #JapanTourism #Okinawa #OkinawaTravel #OkinawaTravelGuide #OkinawaTourism #OkinawaHotels #OkinawaTourism #OkinawaTravelTips #OkinawaFreeTravel #OkinawaAmericanVillage #Manzamo #OkinawaChuraumiAquarium #HaseShrine #Seijinjima
