Old Bamboo Grove Garden (330 yen)
This hidden gem of a courtyard, nestled at the foot of Mount Hiei, is much less crowded than other popular spots. πΈπ Compared to the bustling crowds at Rurikoin, I prefer the tranquility and seclusion here. The main building has two floors where you can sit quietly, enjoying the beautiful garden views and the sound of flowing water over the bridge. πΈπ It makes traveling truly enjoyable. π‘ I highly recommend walking up the mountain because the path is lined with cherry blossoms in full bloom πΈ, and it's very peaceful with few tourists. πΈπThe experience is truly enhanced! Forget about the crowded places in Kyoto; the best way to enjoy cherry blossoms is in smaller Japanese cities. π‘ On the way up, there's a private railway station on the left. Walk down the path beside it. When a train passes by, it feels like stepping into a mangaβit's so beautiful! πΈπ I love watching Japanese railways. #Japan #MountHiei ππ
