Oloroso – Spanish Tapas Restaurant in Philly 🥘
Didn’t get to try Spanish food in D.C., so as soon as we got back to Philly, Ding booked us at this Spanish tapas spot! 🍴 🍞 Bread & Small Bites The mushrooms in the bread appetizer were nice — the rest were just okay. 🍆 Eggplant Croquetas Unexpectedly loved these! The eggplant was roasted until soft and silky, paired really well with the sauce 👍 🥩 Wood-Grilled NY Strip Great cut, cooked perfectly — no complaints! 🍤 Gambas al Ajillo The shrimp were on the lighter side — garlic and oil flavors weren’t very prominent, seasoning felt a bit mild. 🐙 Grilled Octopus Tasted good, but the portion was tiny — just one small, skinny octopus leg. 🥔 Tortilla de Patata (with onion) A classic I always enjoy. 🍩 Churros This one’s worth coming back for! Crispy outside, soft inside — delicious on its own, and even better dipped in chocolate sauce. Sweetness was just right, not cloying at all ❤️ #PhillyEats #SpanishTapas #OlorosoPhilly #DateNight #ChurrosLove #TapasNight #FoodReview
