One Day in LA | Food Guide with Cute Bonus 😉

Haven’t been downtown in a while — came today to get a Chinese visa and ended up eating my way through the city! Here’s my little food tour, plus my happy baby at the end ❤️. 1️⃣ Holy Basil Market 🌶️ 📍 3170 Glendale Blvd unit c, Los Angeles, CA 90039 Rating: ⭐ Found this Thai street-food spot online, but honestly… it was a bit disappointing. Only the pad thai was okay (though salty). The crab fried rice was average, the space was cramped, and not very stroller-friendly. Almost $100 for four dishes before tip — not my favorite stop. 2️⃣ Oakobing 🍧🌟 📍 3300 W 6th St unit 2, Los Angeles, CA 90020 Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ A Korean shaved ice shop in K-Town! Their mango and melon flavors are refreshing and delicious — perfect for a hot day. The portions are huge and easily shared between two. 3️⃣ Hibake | Asian Fusion Bakery 🥧✨ 📍 235 N Canon Dr, Beverly Hills, CA 90210 Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ A trendy bakery in Beverly Hills with creative egg tarts. We tried original, mochi, Dubai chocolate, and matcha — all tasty! Prices are $6–8 each (Beverly Hills vibes, haha). Sadly, we ate them the next day and the crust wasn’t as crisp — best enjoyed fresh! 4️⃣ Damsot 🍚🔥 📍 3377 Wilshire Blvd #112, Los Angeles, CA 90010 Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Back to K-Town for dinner! This newer spot served a delicious eel rice bowl — the eel was tender, flavorful, and not fishy at all. Fun touch: you can pour barley tea over the crispy rice crust at the end. Clean, cozy, and worth revisiting! 5️⃣ Honeymee 🍯🍦 Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ A well-known soft serve spot we passed after dinner. Sweet, creamy, and a lovely way to wrap up the day! And finally… the best part of the trip — my smiling little one! 😊👶 Travel tip with kids: Always check seating space and stroller access if dining in busy areas. And maybe skip the hyped spots unless you're sure they’re worth it! #LAFoodGuide #KtownLA #BeverlyHillsEats #LosAngelesEats #FoodieAdventures #LADateDay #EatLikeALocal #TravelWithKids #DessertLovers #CaliforniaFoodScene
