One-Day Tour Route (1) 🌿

The Philosopher's Path is about 2 km long in total. How much you walk depends on your personal schedule. 🌟🌸 I recommend starting from a point midway along the path. For example, I chose a spot that's a 15-minute walk from Eikando Temple. The entire route passes through residential areas, making it very quiet and pleasant. 🌿 Eikando Temple: Admission is 600 yen (cash only). 🌟🌸 The temple grounds have a well-planned route that you can follow to see everything without backtracking. There are small gardens you can enter (shoes must be removed), and I highly recommend sitting there to daydream—it's like a soul-cleansing experience. There are also some spots that require climbing stairs, so if you have mobility issues, look for elevators. 🌟🌸 It's best to allocate at least 1-2 hours for Eikando. #Kyoto 🌇🌟
