One-Day Trip to Los Angeles Modern Art Museum + Fossil Museum

Visited LACMA on a cloudy day Los Angeles Art Museum admission $20 for L.A. County residents La Brea Tar Pits Animal Fossil Museum $15 🦕🎨It wasn’t particularly stunning, the venue wasn’t as large as I imagined, but wandering around was still very relaxing. There seem to be only two buildings, and the first floor of the main building wasn’t open today. The new LACMA building is set to open this year and it looks like a spaceship! Excited for the grand opening! 🏛️We also dropped by the nearby La Brea Tar Pits, a museum of Ice Age animal fossils, which was much more fascinating and highly recommended. You can see staff in the laboratory removing tar from fossils.
