One-Day Trip to North Cascades National Park + Tips

🌟Driving from Bellevue to North Cascades National Park takes just over 2 hours, making it perfect for a weekend getaway, whether for a day or two. 🌟We only went for a day, and the most beautiful spot in the park is Diablo Lake Vista Point. Just navigate to this location, get out of the car, and you can enjoy the view and take photos. 🌟Remember, Do not come at sunset! Do not come at sunset! Do not come at sunset! The lake water is normally a beautiful blue color, but due to backlighting at sunset, it turns orange-yellow. 🌟We also chose a short trail to hike. We navigated to the Thunder Knob Trailhead, and with less than an hour of hiking, we were able to observe the stunning views of the “pineapple” from another angle. #northcascades #Seattle #SeattleSurroundings #SeattleLife
