One European City Per Month: Zagreb, Croatia 🇭🇷
DAY 1 ✈️ Zagreb International Airport → 🏠 Airbnb 💗We arrived late (11 PM) the night before. 💗The 30-minute Bolt taxi ride cost €40—super convenient, but remember to pay upfront (we forgot and had to transfer money later—thankfully, the driver was super kind!). DAY 2 🍁 Zrinjevac Park 💧Sunlit strolls in this Lower Town park, with autumn leaves swirling at our feet—pure serenity. (Bonus: Just 3 mins walk to the city center.) 🗽 Ban Jelačić Square 💧The city’s vibrant heart, where blue trams glide past the equestrian statue—straight out of a film. 🌺 Dolac Market 💧Zagreb’s bustling food & flower market—a slice of local life. ⛪ Zagreb Cathedral ✨Under renovation, but the red-brick buildings opposite are photogenic. A friendly baker even shared fresh bread with us! 🥩 Batak Grill ✨€77 for 4 people (with drinks!)—unheard-of in Europe. Every dish was flawless. 🍫 Chocolate Museum 🌀A sweet journey through history, with free tastings in each room. 🚠 World’s Shortest Funicular → St. Mark’s Church ⛪ Church of St. Mark 🌀One of Zagreb’s oldest buildings, famed for its colorful tiled roof. ⚠️ Lotrščak Tower (Closed Mondays) 🌀Climb for sunset views—worth every step. 💔 Museum of Broken Relationships 🌈Poignant stories of love and loss—far deeper than just romance. 🍷 Nightcap at a Random Bar 🌈Smoke-friendly (a rarity in Europe!), with great cocktails & vibes. #CroatiaTravel #Zagreb #ChocolateMuseum #DolacMarket
